Roland is by far the best tennis pro I have ever worked with. When I started, my strokes were inconsistent, but now I can absolutely crush the ball with reliable accuracy and spin. Every part of my gameโ€”ground strokes, volleys, overheads, and servesโ€”has improved drastically over the years. If you are serious about getting better, he is the coach for you.

I have been taking lessons with Roland in the past couple of months. Starting tennis as an adult can be intimidating, but with Roland, I feel like Iโ€™m making small progress every lesson. Heโ€™s very patient and communicative. What I appreciate the most is how concrete and effective his feedback is. I was able to progress quickly and rally a few rounds after a couple of lessons because I only needed to focus on one thing at a time, thanks to his guidance.

My now 9-year-old son started tennis with Roland two years ago as a complete beginner. Roland has always been focused on building proper technique and fundamentals, and that foundation is really paying off now. In just two summers, the progress has been incredible. My son is developing into a very strong tennis player, and much of that is a testament to Rolandโ€™s expertise, patience, and commitment to teaching the game the right way. We couldnโ€™t be happier with his coaching.

I came to Boston for two months for a job and took lessons with Roland while I was here. I was a beginner who'd been taking group classes for four months, and after just one lesson with Roland, I could see how much faster my game was improving with him. He is a no-nonsense coach who spends 100% of the lesson time focused on the best way to make you a better player. I have improved astronomically in these two months and I'm only sorry I'm leaving because we can't continue our lessons. Roland is also extremely communicative, responsive, and accommodating when it comes to planning lesson times. I would highly recommend Roland to anyone looking to improve their tennis skills in Boston!

Roland is a great tennis coach! Iโ€™ve been taking lessons with him this summer and have gone from a complete beginner to being able to rally consistently. I felt like he gave me the perfect balance of patience as I learned the basics and encouraging me to progress to harder skills when I was ready. He also has a great ability to help you tailor and understand your unique swing and athletic ability in a way that feels achievable. I also appreciated how private and quiet the location for lessons was. If youโ€™re thinking about it, I definitely recommend taking lessons with Roland!
